Nobility vs Superiority
"All animals are equal but some are more equal than others..."Remember this quote from Animal Farm? The book was a rocker. Very touchy and made a lot of sense, but that's not where I'm going.
What makes some animals - in this case humans - more equal than others? Guess where I'm going? Yeah - superiority syndrome.
I hate it, really hate it, when guys put up superiority airs. It annoys me and makes me think of doing some really bad things (I just think it - don't actually do it - hehehe) to them.
What makes a man feel superior to another? What makes a man feel like he deserves better treatment than another? Usually material wealth and social class - which is also defined by material wealth. So because a man got the dough, he is entitled to first class treatment. And not only that, he can trample on those below - who ain't got the dough. Rubbish!
You treat others like trash and that makes you think you are superior? Shame on you! A true nobleman is not that man who feels superior to the other person. No. True nobility is being superior to your former self.
Fight, strive, thrive to become better than you were yesterday. Work on that bad habit; work on the failed assignments; that attitude that sucks; everything bad that crawls within you - work on them. One step at a time. Just make sure you do something differently, so that you can get a different result - a better result.
Each time you take a different step - consciously towards the positives; guess what? You have dealt your former (ugly) self a deathly blow. And this makes you superior - a Nobleman.
