Listen vs Silent

Ever wondered why the words 'Listen' and 'Silent' are made up by the same letters? I have too and the reason is simple: to listen, you have to be silent.

It's important to keep learning everyday, in fact, it's an attribute of life. The day you stop learning, you start dying. Now, one way to learn is to listen - pay attention; and you cannot do this by always having something to say! Sometimes, there's always the urge to air our opinion and thus we end up interrupting a what would have been a productive conversation.


It's productive to listen more and talk less - this way, your words are more calculated and meaningful (because you would have gotten full information by listening to the other party).
