Repetition: The Key To Persuasion (Part 1)

It is the truth that you know that will make you free. Revelation is the cure for frustration. Knowledge of the truth is the light of your darkness and it is this light that makes you free.

Not trying to preach here!

Let's evaluate this fact. It has been agreed by some scholars (based on extensive research) that a person (or group of persons) is able to assimilate about 20% of revelation or information from every teaching or exposition (per sitting).
What this simply means is that no matter how good a teacher or book is (or any form of information dispersed through any medium), the audience (students, congregation, readers, viewers) cannot get (understand or assimilate) more than 20% of what is being taught (shared).

Now this is an anomaly! 20% is obviously a failure. If you need at least 70% of that information to succeed (in a particular task), how will you make up for the 50% that is lost?

This takes us to another truth: the key to persuasion is repetition (not more information).

to be continued...
